At Potters College, one of our goals is to let students and other patrons have a positive and warm impression of the body of knowledge that sit in the Eghan Library. The way patrons are informed about what is available for them is through library orientation. The orientation will include cataloguing and locating the material among other things. Finding and using the best, most accurate and reliable sources of information is absolutely critical to good scholarship. The librarian will provide guidance for library patrons in locating and evaluating information resources.  This is a concept known as information literacy. Information literacy is knowing how to find information and evaluate its quality. The library orientation presentation is done through interactive approach to make the learning environment fun and enjoyable.

Potters College aims to mould the character and attitude of our graduates toward practice. Like the Prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 18:1-4, God instructed him to “arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear my word”, Once you hear about us, and then you take the decision to enroll, our relationship with you changes completely. It is now our duty to take you through the right path in your academic studies. Your coming to us is to learn some new attitudes toward practice. With your cooperative attitude we will “work” on you again and again to change you into something that seems good to your practice. Your training will focus on developing you mentally, physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually through Christian teaching.

Potters College Counseling Center provides comprehensive preventive and health services as well as guidance to all students and staff entities to enhance the psychological well-being of individual students, as well as the College staff. Our goal is to help students and staff integrate their college experiences and to cope with the stresses that are inherent in a diverse institution of learning. Counseling can be offered to individuals or group.

Group counseling involves a small number of individuals working together on common problems or concerns. Counseling groups may focus on a particular issue (for example, exam anxiety or relationship issues) or they can be less structured sessions that explore broader issues or student concerns.

Faculty and staff utilize this opportunity to teach and engage students in learning strategy that integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen communities with emphasis on critical thinking. The students also utilize this as personal values and civic responsibility.

The service rendered identifies and targets the community needs. Faculty identifies groups or non-governmental agency to partner with and to address the community needs.
